polo in the city!

I know I’ve been very quiet on the blog front lately… it’s that crazy time of year when everyone needs their photos yesterday. There’s not much time for blogging or facebooking and I haven’t even thought about twitter for weeks (maybe months…) but this shoot inspired me to post!

This weekend in Sydney was Paspaley Polo in the City. An event that travels around Australia. The idea is to introduce the sport of polo to a broader spectrum of the community… bring the sport to the city, to show people why it’s one of the fastest growing spectator sports in the world. If you live outside of Sydney or Brisbane you can still get tickets as the polo is coming your way!

This publicity shoot was done in Centennial Park with the stunning Esther Anderson and not bad looking Argentinian polo player Baron Jakob Von Plessen… and Max the pony!

I’m a H&A fan so I was thrilled to shoot Esther. And I have to admit I did think once or twice ‘wow, she gets to pash Brax’. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, just ignore that! She and Jakob were both lovely and so accommodating even with the gale force winds, streaming eyes & hair all over the place. All in all it was a fun shoot and hopefully you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them,

Ali x

Ali, absolutely gorgeous photos as usual. People know a talented photographer when they see one (and see their photos) :o ). I’m a H&A fan too and I think the same thing about ‘Brax’ ha ha. Thank you for sharing another amazing shoot and congratulations. -x-
ps. the wind certainly adds to the effect – especially the flowing dress and hair
